The full name of MOPS sodium salt is 3-(N-morpholino)propanesulfonic acid sodium salt, which is a white crystalline powder. It belongs to a kind of biological buffer. In biological experiments, it is an important pH stabilizing reagent. Usually, an appropriate weak acid is mixed with its conjugate base to obtain a suitable pH value. To configure 1L of 3-(N-morpholino)propanesulfonic acid sodium salt solvent, first prepare 231.25 grams of mops na powder, 750 ml of distilled water, concentrated hydrochloric acid, a beaker container, and a stirring rod;
Pour the prepared 3-(N-morpholino)propanesulfonic acid sodium salt powder and 750 ml of distilled water into a beaker container and stir to dissolve;
Use concentrated hydrochloric acid to adjust to the desired pH;
Fill up to a final volume of 1 L by adding distilled water again;
The solution with constant volume was filtered and sterilized to obtain the final solvent.
